This half day course will enable you to explore the creative process of needle felting with the aim of completing your own needle felted landscape picture. You will learn techniques using merino wool fibres and special felting needles to build up your unique landscape.
All materials will be provided with the option of framing your finished work at an extra cost. No previous experience of felting is necessary. Inspirational examples will be shown on the day but you are welcome to bring your own photographs to work from.
This workshop will take place in the Old Potting Shed art studio in the Chatsworth Garden, a step free and accessible venue. Your tickets include access to the gardens after the workshop to explore at your own pace. Tea, coffee and refreshments will be provided throughout the session.
Please meet at the top garden gates at 9.50am.
