Create a set of handmade candles to take home this Christmas. This candle making workshop takes place in our garden art studio and offers a hands-on experience to explore the art of candle making in a fun and relaxed environment.

The workshop includes crafting a full set of soy wax melts, which can be scented and decorated with your choice of fragrances and colours. You'll have access to decorations like dried flower petals and glitter, making your creations truly personal and will receive extra wax to take with you to continue creating at home. In the workshop you will also design a rolled and appliqué wax-decorated beeswax candle and pour a unique scented votive candle, choosing from a range of beautiful fragrances to suit your taste.

At the end of the workshop, you'll take home all your handmade candles, along with extra wax.

This workshop includes tea, coffee and entry to Christmas at Chatsworth House and Garden after the session. You do not need timed tickets, just show your QR code at the house entrance.

The Old Potting Shed is a step free, accessible venue with toilet facilities. Please email education@chatsworth.org if you have any questions about access and we will speak to you about how we can meet your needs.
