A half day workshop where you'll create beautiful folded paper Christmas decorations for your Christmas tree. Guided by an established paper artist Kim Bevan, you'll learn the art of paper folding to craft unique ornaments inspired by Christmas at Chatsworth.

These paper creations are the perfect way to decorate your home, crafted with eco-friendly materials like recycled paper, card, and wire. All materials will be provided. If you have any wrapping paper you would like to recycle, please bring it along. Enjoy a complimentary mince pie, tea and coffee, along with entry to Chatsworth House and Garden at Christmas after the workshop.

This workshop is suitable for most abilities, but does require manual dexterity. Please email education@chatsworth.org if you have any questions about accessibility. The Old Potting Shed is a step free, accessible venue.

About the artist

Kim has a wealth of experience teaching all ages, both at Chatsworth and at her studio in Sheffield. In her own practice she makes artist books which play around with 3D sculptural folding techniques and creates artwork using paper cutting and printmaking.
