Dog agility
9.30am to 5pm | £3 per round
Try navigating our agility course with your four legged friend. Knowledgeable stewards will be on hand to help you out.
Just turn up with your dog - all breeds and abilities are welcome. Your dog should be over 12 months old so we know all their joints work well.
Family fun dog show
Join us from 12pm for our daily dog show. Whether your dog has the waggiest tail, or you have the best gundog or terrier, come and take part in the Top Dogs Arena.
Competitions will take place approximately every 20 minutes. Due to time constraints we are limited to a maximum of 40 dogs per class.
Entry: £3 per class
Rosettes 1st to 3rd for all classes.

Other activities for dogs...
K9 Aqua Sports
We're delighted to have K9 Aqua Sports at the fair. Your dog will have the chance to have-a-go and compete with other dogs for distance height and speed.
Gundog and have-a-go scurries
Gundogs love to work and there are several competitions to test their speed and handling skills, as well as a race for novices. You can also try one of the gundog scurries with any breed of dog.
National Lurcher & Racing Club
The lurcher events and competitions are open to anyone with a lurcher, and there are demonstrations and have-a-go coursing too with some open to any breed.

For our youngest visitors, there's lots of hands-on fun.
Have-a-go shooting
Be guided by the experts as you try your hand at clay pigeon shooting, archery, rifle shooting and much more besides, plus it's great fun for the whole family.
Have-a-go fishing
If you've always wanted to land a big one, here's your chance to try your hand at fly fishing or improve your technique.
Ferrets
You can get hands on with the stars of the British Ferret Club competition. Ferrets will be showing and racing throughout the fair.
Sheep dog trial
Fifty dogs compete for the Ray Ollerenshaw Memorial Trophy.
